There are many areas of Australia that need a very well equipped four wheel drive and considerable driving experience to enter, but there are many more that today’s Softroader (SUV) all wheel drive can easily travel.

Many outback and forestry roads are very well maintained gravel roads that even the average two wheel drive vehicles will have no difficulty negotiating, but fire trails and tracks really need the added ground clearance of a Softroader (SUV) all wheel drive.

Through my series of mini-documentary style videos and trip information, I hope to encourage overseas and Australian travellers to 'get out there' and experience Australia's amazing beauty, isolation and history.

I am a mini-documentary filmmaker for online media distribution.

My quest is to video the beautiful scenery, towns and places of Australia and to capture not only the scenes, but the natural atmospheric sounds of the location at that moment in time.

The raw video and audio material is gathered together and carefully edited in my studio and a descriptive, but unobtrusive voice over is then added outlining the history and facts of the area.

Lastly I compose an ambient background soundtrack to convey the feeling of the scene.
